Accidents Happen But We Can Help
Pets are wonderful things. For most of us, they become a member of our family, an indispensable one. Especially, the dogs have long been considered as “Man’s best friend.” If you are a pet owner you should already know, it takes time to house-train them. No matter if it’s your dog or your cat, there are accidents you can’t avoid. You want to be sure that you get the smell out of your carpets completely, otherwise you might find that your dog will urinate in that spot again.
Here at TRUST CARPET & TILE CLEANING we use the industry’s latest products and techniques to remove the urine stain and odors from your carpets. To many times homeowners try the store brand pet sprays and spotters. That can actually set the stain sometimes. Most of the time the urine has gone through the back of the carpet and reached the padding underneath. If you do not rinse the spotter and urine out of the carpet you are just re-wetting the urine spot. We will treat and rinse the urine from your carpets and padding underneath to remove the urine from your home. Leaving you with a fresh clean carpet.
HERE IS A TIP:
If you can catch it right away use an absorbent towel or paper towels and lay it on the spot. Step on the towel changing towels frequently. Keep it up until you no longer pull any moisture out. Follow up with clean water and repeat the process. Follow with a professional cleaning.
We offer different types of treatments for your little accidents. There are different classes or levels of urine. Let me explain them to you… There is light, light to moderate, moderate, moderate to heavy, heavy, and extreme.
Light – The urine is only on top. It has been soaked up right away.
Light to Moderate – This can and may include multiple spots. Sometimes effecting the padding underneath.
Moderate – This is when the pet has gone in the same place multiple times effecting the padding underneath.
Moderate to Heavy – This includes multiple spots and much larger areas. The padding underneath will definitely be effected.
Heavy – This will include very heavy urine deposits that will include effected padding and tack strip it may also include the sub-floor and drywall.
Extreme – This well is the worst case scenario. The carpets and padding are beyond repair baseboards and sub-floor and drywall are effected.
The first thing that we do is inspect the area with a special black inspection light. This light will illuminate the urine making it glow. In most cases we can treat the area and padding with a special treatment that will dissolve urine salts and organic contaminants. So that we can more thoroughly rinse them out of the carpets and padding. Some cases are different in other treatments we will pull the carpet back and replace the pad. In extreme situations we will remove the contaminated carpet and padding exposing the sub-floor. Removing the baseboards to reach the drywall. Once we have the effected carpet and padding and base off. We treat them and seal the areas so that all contaminated ares are safe and odor free.
No matter what your needs we at Trust Carpet & Tile Cleaning will find the right treatment that will work best for your little accidents.
