  • Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. Are there any hidden charges or fees?
    A. No. Our knowledgeable technicians will explain the cleaning process they recommend, custom-tailored to your needs, and give you an estimate on the spot. The estimate we give you will be the final price – there are no hidden charges or fees.

    Q. What furniture do you move?
    A. We move things like sofas, tables and chairs. We don’t move dressers, beds, china cabinets, electronics, pianos and such. All we ask is that you remove breakables and knickknacks from the furniture you want moved.

    Q. Do fabric protectors really work?
    A. Fabric protectors won’t prevent your carpet from getting dirty. Their purpose is to protect your carpet from permanent stains and prolong the life of the fabric, which they do very well if properly applied. Here at TRUST CARPET & TILE CLEANING we use 3M SCOTCHGARD the name most recognized and trusted by professionals everywhere.

    Q. How long does it take to dry?
    A. Our powerful moisture extraction equipment ensures that when our technicians leave your home, your carpeting will not be wet – it will just be damp to the touch. Typically, it will be completely dry in about three hours. Tile will be dry immediately after cleaning. Upholstery depending on fabric can take 1/2-1 hour to completely dry. Room temperatures, humidity, air flow and weather conditions can affect drying times.

    Q. How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
    A. We recommend that to maintain the life and look of your carpet that you clean them at least once a year to every 6 months to keep them looking there best. Longer in between cleanings can let dust mites and damaging and abrasive soil to damage your carpets fibers,  shortening your carpets life. However, if your carpets need to be cleaned more often than that due to heavy traffic, spots or other spills then clean them as needed.

    Q. Are you able to remove any kind of stain?
    A. While a few stains are impossible to remove, our special stain removal processes are highly successful in getting stains out that our customers thought were permanent. Because spots often are easiest to remove if they’re treated promptly.

    Q. Do I have to move my furniture before your technicians arrive?
    A. Our technicians are respectful of your belongings and are trained to safely move your lightweight furniture and put things back after they’ve cleaned. Due to liability reasons, we can’t move heavy furniture, electronics, china cabinets and shelves or bookcases that are full of items.
